Wish it looked like that in our area. ^_^

Out in Severn we got iced in :P, had to jump out a window to break the ice around my doors.

How deep’s the snow? There’s little to gauge against.

…I would regard that as a rather concerning depth of snow but that may have something to do with living in the South.
After all, once thirty snowflakes hit the ground in good ol’ Atlanta, grand burned-down-and-rebuilt bitch that she is, the whole place turns into even more of a loony bin than usual. People around here don’t know how to drive in snow.

Actually, the last time we had a real snowstorm here at West Georgia, Public Safety was unable to break up the snowball fight that erupted at 3 AM in the parking lot under my open window. (It was open because my roommate and I both thought that the heat was a bit oppressive.) I understand this is why they now have riot gear.

Snowed in here too. God bless a HD projector, the nintendo Wii, an XBox 360 and gears of war and a massive wall. 110″ widescreen gaming, snow can wait till later!

oh that’s nothing…there’s this area around Oswego, NY where they got 141 inches last week alone! Almost 12 feet!

almost…. 14 feet. :P

Yah, here in my part of OK, it’s been partly/mostly cloudy (thick upper-level cirro-cumulus deck) but snow has been falling all day. Granted, it’s only about .5 millimeters and hour, but still! Too bad, I’d love to have an inch or two. (not 14 feet OMG!)

Heh, people here in VA/DC/MD suck, and at the same time, are great. We get a few inches and the city literally goes into a panic. People struggling to get out of driveways and such. Not to mention when it was comming down yesterday afternoon, traffic was terrible at all the scared drivers. However, i enjoyed the day. Pretty much the ENTIRE office except me and the manager called out “because of the snow” so no work had to be done. It should snow like this every day.

Yeesh, DC traffic in snow. and I thought it was bad on a normal day! (Yes, I’ve been there)

kinda like Dallas traffic during an ice/hail storm, I suppose.

You aren’t snowed in…

UPSTATE NEWYORK IS THOUGH.

Seriously though, we’ve been getting a regular beating of snow here in Nebraska (Zomg, midwest). And bloody hell, -6 for the morning low! And I work nightshift, imagen coming out of work into that temp.

Corse, I know the folks in the north get it worse, Alaska and Canadadadadada and what not.

Nothing like feeling like you live in a frozen tundra one day and the next feeling like you live in freak’n Oklahoma.

Tis the weather here. Its nice, sometimes. I’d love the summers, if it weren’t for the bloody humidity here. MY MORTAL ENEMY

Hey! Oklahoma isn’t warm either! :D

Well, warmer. It gets to 105 in the summer, however! Is nebraska really humid? Last I checked there aren’t many big rivers there, except the Missouri river in the NE corner. If you want to see humid, try Saint Louis on a hot, windless summer day - it’s almost as bad as Houston! I’m just clad there isn’t as much mold here as there is in STL, or as much cedar as there is in Texas - I’m crazy allergic to both. (a mold spore number of 20,000 per cubic meter is LOW in STL, Dude!)

Dear god is it humid here.

Its humid enough that when you fly out of Omaha, you see a big big cloud of humidity floating about the city.

I’m not kidding. o_o

GET A SNOWBLOWER!

Lol, a leaf blower would work too, assuming it’s powdery. I still can’t believe you finished that in like 3 hours, I’d have given up once I lost feeling in my hands (about 15 minutes!) :)

Now, everywhere BUT Texas gets coldness… It’s our payback for that ice thing a few weeks ago… (But I hear talk of cold, this morning… huzzah…)

And good for you for finishing shoveling. ^^
