I think it is fair to assume that many of you are already Penny Arcade readers, but for those of you who aren’t - go take a look at their latest offering - it’s a break from their usual fare. They’re doing a Cardboard Tube Samurai story arc, and it’s rather beautifully done. Gabe’s visuals are stunning, often times in their cleanliness and simplicity - which works in some wonderful parallel with the storytelling. It’s enjoyable, to say the least.
It’s not a secret that Tycho has not always spoken well of continuity - nonetheless, I’m going to venture out onto a limb here and say that if he and Gabe were ever to leap headfirst into prolonged continuity and produce a graphic novel with a beginning, middle, and end - then it is a guarantee that I would be first in line to pick it up. Seriously. Get out of my way. I killed a man in Reno, I’m crazy.

I completely agree. and I would fight you for first place in line if it happened to be a CTS graphic novel.
I wish I could draw like Gabe.
Gabe has nothing but respect for ya artwork, just like the thousands of people who come here regularly, besides he probably says the same about your artwork, lol (Don’t make me scroll through the news posts on his site to prove it)
gabe is awsome, but so are you. i know for a fact that gabe thinks your work is awsome.
-steps away from Ananth-
I would be first in line no doubt. Though ui wouldn’t kill anyone to get there the more people who would buy it the more they know it’s a good idea.
The style of CTS is awsome, let alone the artwork itself. I would be in line to get the book as well.
I dunno. I just may have to meet you at the front of said line with fists blazing….
And I’m certain you’d kick my ass but let me have the next spot in line, right? yeeaaahhh… i can hope.
…just to watch him die Ananth?
Yeah. I KILL FOR FUN.
mike and jerry are awsome. i saw them briefly at E3′05, but didn’t know it was them at the time…oops.
every christmas we have cardboard tube samurai fights. it’s tradition!
I met Jerry at PAX twice. He seems like quite a nice guy, and last time, I even tried to fancy-talk to him.
“Hello, Mr. Holkins? Hi, I’m *censored*. I just wanted to know, that as a writer, your eloquence makes mine seem rather ethereal and pellucid.” He laughed, and told me it was a “good one”.
