Why is it Ananth doesn’t get us much love? Hawk draws pretty pictures, but without Ananth’s writing… Then again, I haven’t seen Hawk’s writing.

Morning News is the best, though, because the trend in sites these days is form over function. They allowed the function to designate the form, and it works. It’s clean, simple, and easy to read.

N.Design looks nice too, but I find it rather cliche these days. I’d have to visit to really judge, but on looks alone I’ve seen the type of vector art a million times over.

I believe what’s old is becoming new again, so overly complicate and cluttered sites will start to dwindle unless they serve a specific purpose. Everybody wants vector art, and flash, and to be noticed. Sometimes the way to be noticed is to keep it simple.

Then again, my graphic design degree has taken me nowhere. lol So what do I know?
