I've never heard of someone bot-spamming a search engine, let alone enough people doing it to warrant wasting time on a page to weed out bots....

But anyway, I use Opera and I've never gotten anything like that. If anyone would see an error I'd think Opera users or any other lesser-known browser would.

Oh yeah, since they're saying that the error could be associated with a robot IP or spam IP, I think it could have to do with your employer's network (if you're doing the searches from there).

...
Ananth, I could've come up with something a lot more scathing than that. :P "You're bad at being on time with your comic posts" come to mind. XD

Got a similar error on windows before. Except that it didn't just affect the searches. It affected every site I tried to go to. The similarity I'm talking about is how another url automatically gets added behind i.e. http://www.......http://www...... (not that I really know my stuff but I don't think that's normal?) Think it was okay after a cleanup.

Malware dude. I had this, went through a major cleanup on my box, and it went away, immediately. I suspect it's something for people to type in captcha's for spammers.

I don't get anything like that when I search those queries. Nor have I had anything like that when I searched for things I shouldn't be searching for at school. o_O;; I really don't understand why it would be happening to you.
