haha google pwnt j00.
I don’t get anything like that when I search those queries. Nor have I had anything like that when I searched for things I shouldn’t be searching for at school. o_O;; I really don’t understand why it would be happening to you.
You’re bad at the internet!
You’re bad at getting the scripts done on time!
You’re bad at … um … *hangs head in shame*
Writer got pwned.
You’re all horrible and fail at life! :P
awww its ok i still wuv you!!! ^_^
Anath, remember, revenge is a dish best served cold ^^ d(o.o)b
Time to screw around with the AGLite comics again eh?
That little series of Artist vs Writer was funny.
Hawk you have alot of free time, don’t you? I mean Googling ‘retard’ ? O_o
Anyway that’s pretty freaking hilarious
…
Ananth, I could’ve come up with something a lot more scathing than that. :P “You’re bad at being on time with your comic posts” come to mind. XD
You suck. Check your tcp/ip settings and clear your cookies.
Check this out.. maybe it has something to do with this
or this one

Could be that you changed your user/agent for Safari? Google gets prissy about that sometimes.
They use that to make sure you’re not a spam-bot, cause bots can’t read the squiggly text.
Or did you mean the error in general? That I don’t know about.
You might want to check what the rest of the actual URL looks like, and see if it tells you what your query was.
It’s unlikely, but possible that you actualy do have a virus that tacked something on to the end of your search string.
As I said, it’s particularly unlikely since you’re using OS X and Safari, but is a quick thing to check.
Tried the same queries with Safari and did not get an error. Notice that it’s a 403 error which suggests it is a problem on the server side and not with your query (despite the error message that Google has returned). It may have just been a temporary glitch or outage on their end.
google is just plain picky.
try firefox
Is it me but is there something up with the Google logo. Still check you system all the same
There is no little TM after the logo
It’s the old Google logo. Notice no fancy embossing.
I used to get this error a lot. It turned out I shared an IP address with 4 other people one of whom was a spammer (this also explained why I found myself, or more specifically my IP address, banned from forums I had never even been on before in my life). Not sure if this is what’s happening to you, but if it is, what worked for me was to contact my provider and have them change my IP address.
Long time reader, first time poster.
Chances are good you either a) share an IP address with a spammer/robot or b) have your “User-Agent String” set to something awful. If you have no idea what part b means, it *shouldn’t* apply unless you have a virus. It’s a fairly easy virus to write, too - anyone with just a little knowledge of *NIX computers could do it. Try uninstalling and reinstalling your browser of choice.
Hey guys,
As far as I can tell this is a normal Google error whenever they are either experiencing extreme traffic spikes or if a machine in the same domain as yours (or your ISP) is infected with a virus that might be spamming the Google site.
Basically they display this to verify that it is not some sort of automated traffic, but a human behind the query.
Here is a link to their official support page explaining it:
Hope this helps! \(^.^)/
That doesn’t look like a legit google page to me. Not there logo, the color scheme looks a little wonky, etc. Someone might be messing with you by redirecting your google search bar… or somethin… Maybe it is a virus but it doesn’t look like real Google to me.
Its obviously because you’re a Muslim. Google discriminates!
simply put, you just got pwned by google. Write a letter. and angry angry letter. (yes, i mean hardcopy. it’ll terrify them.) better yet, just write ‘RTARD’ on it in red sharpie ink, THEN mail it to them.
:P
happy xmas
hmm, bad idea. google will own the world here in a few years, so it might be a good idea not to piss em off
pssht. hence why we get out kicks while we can. :P
Hmm.. you get the feeling that thire not reading this anymore?
An error on Google, huh? I thought it was supposed to be the ‘almighty’ of search engines. Well, it’s never happened to me before.
i think it probably a problem with Mac
how does this make any sense at all? i’ve never had this problem and i use macs all the time.
and no, you cant touch my powerbook. go get your own.
Maye it is the end of the world?
Or did you just offend Google?
uh… it worked for me.
maybe it just doesn’t like you
Malware dude. I had this, went through a major cleanup on my box, and it went away, immediately. I suspect it’s something for people to type in captcha’s for spammers.
Got a similar error on windows before. Except that it didn’t just affect the searches. It affected every site I tried to go to. The similarity I’m talking about is how another url automatically gets added behind i.e. http://www…….http://www…… (not that I really know my stuff but I don’t think that’s normal?) Think it was okay after a cleanup.
Oh yeah, since they’re saying that the error could be associated with a robot IP or spam IP, I think it could have to do with your employer’s network (if you’re doing the searches from there).
I’ve never heard of someone bot-spamming a search engine, let alone enough people doing it to warrant wasting time on a page to weed out bots….
But anyway, I use Opera and I’ve never gotten anything like that. If anyone would see an error I’d think Opera users or any other lesser-known browser would.
