Eid Mubarak Hawk!
I hope Ramadan wasn’t too stressful…It went by quite fast for me this year, I don’t know about you ^_^
Keep up the good work with AG!
Hey Hawk, did u record this one?
impressive. i like this very much. enough that i will bookmark, and read on into the archives. thanks!
why havent you been “found” by someone at Marvel or DC yet? id love to see your work in one of the classic comics characters books. imagine you drawing batman/detective comics . . . makes you drool too rite?
I’m sure he’s thought about that before, not sure it would pay as much as he’s making now though. Ever been asked to do a traditional comic Hawk?
from?
Marvel, DC, Image, etc
i was asked to send my portfolio to D.C.
So YOU are the one that hung that Spider-Man effigy off the building across the street!
I commented on the sketch over at blogger; the colored version in noice! Really like the tone, atmosphere and the warm colors you used for it. Scarecrows are usually found on farms and your choice of palette really places him on a rural, dusty setting. Job well done as always.
My only crit is that I wish you had kept the crow in the colored version; I thought it was a nice little touch in the sketch and made it even creepier looking.
I just wanted to drop in and say that I’m really diggin’ the new look for AG 3.0. The Scarecrow sketch was damn awsome!
Would it be possible to get a video of you coloring something?
Do a search for “Hawk Cintiq” on YouTube and you’ll get a vide of Hawk coloring a pretty cool image.
