I’ll never understand why people rip others’ artwork and try to pass it as their own. The whole point of being an artist is the joy of creating something from scratch.
Recently someone ripped off a very old image I made and submitted it to a very popular videogame contest. The person got an honorable mention and that’s how I found out.
Luckily after submitting proof the people running the contest took appropriate action and I was given the proper credit right away.
