So now Gina’s in Boston! In one of those underground fighting rings mentioned earlier on. The Wanderlust story arc is going to be following this format, most likely - it will jump around, as she wanders from city to city, oscillating between consideration of things back home and trying to clear her head. And the occasional interlude, like the next comic - you’ll see in a few days!
Anyway, it’s been nice to reapproach the characters in this way - Gina is one of those characters that I’ve been wanting to work with for a while, but the opportunity just never came up before now. I know that sounds a little wacky considering that we’re now at 300+ comics, but opportunities are actually tough to come by.
All of my friends are playing a game called Cooking Mama right now - that and Trauma Center seem pretty tight. “It’s tight,” says Archer who is sitting next to me. So that’s a quote for you.
Also, Threadless has some new designs! The “No More Bento” one has a great illustration on it, although orange isn’t my color. Maybe it’s yours! I’ve been a lot happier with some of the Threadless designs coming through lately - the shirts with birds, death trees, skulls, and various forms of broken hearts have thankfully been approved at a minimum. Clever interpretations are awesome, but for a while I felt like that was all that was available. No more! :) Anyway, check out their current stock - there might be something you like!
