So now Gina’s in Boston! In one of those underground fighting rings mentioned earlier on. The Wanderlust story arc is going to be following this format, most likely – it will jump around, as she wanders from city to city, oscillating between consideration of things back home and trying to clear her head. And the occasional interlude, like the next comic – you’ll see in a few days!

Anyway, it’s been nice to reapproach the characters in this way – Gina is one of those characters that I’ve been wanting to work with for a while, but the opportunity just never came up before now. I know that sounds a little wacky considering that we’re now at 300+ comics, but opportunities are actually tough to come by.

All of my friends are playing a game called Cooking Mama right now – that and Trauma Center seem pretty tight. “It’s tight,” says Archer who is sitting next to me. So that’s a quote for you.

Also, Threadless has some new designs! The “No More Bento” one has a great illustration on it, although orange isn’t my color. Maybe it’s yours! I’ve been a lot happier with some of the Threadless designs coming through lately – the shirts with birds, death trees, skulls, and various forms of broken hearts have thankfully been approved at a minimum. Clever interpretations are awesome, but for a while I felt like that was all that was available. No more! :) Anyway, check out their current stock – there might be something you like!

Wow….I’m actually the first to comment. Being that I never comment on anything, I just thought it would be interesting to see what it would be like to be the first. To be honest, I don’t feel special like I should. I know that there should be some kind of shimmering light that surrounds me with the angel’s choir singing their lovely melodies, but they’re not. It’s not happening. As you can see, I have diverged from what I wanted to say. I think you guys are going in a excellent direction with the comic. The writing style is very unique and I love how you have different individuals narrating a particular comic. For the first one with Gina, I kind of imagined a hot dog stand guy. Anyways, good job you guys. Keep up the good work and don’t listen to the pessimists because for every one pessimist, you guys have at least ten optimist who admire you guys. Well, that’s all. *Wanders away.*

I really love this piece; I adore the more hilarious bits with Gina, but I’ve also wanted to see her serious side. She’s a more versatile character than she might seem on the surface, which makes me want to know more.

Oh yeah… on Threadless… I keep intending to check it out thanks to all of your recommendations, but I’ve gotten so wrapped up in designing shirts over at cafepress that I never have any money left over for shirts elsewhere. =} One of these months!

Um…I’m in Boston, can I meet Gina? She is incredible.

May I add that I love you for giving serious depth to until-recently-secondary characters? A webcomic that actually takes this kind of care with its storytelling is really rare. Much kudos!

Im working on a collab project write now with a friend of mine . Your writing style is similar to his, at least with exodous. Its a little choppy for me with the pre-exodous ending with the explosion and then no mention of two of the main characters in the first 3 comics. Its bold, your asking a lot of your audience who is used to being able to turn the page and find out what happeneds or at least get to the next chapter in a quick manner as opposed to weekly installments. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the story and the character developemnt though all the femae characters are all a little shadowy (perhaps hence the gina comic)Im just saying that whenevr eve and hawk show back up i am going to be expecting a lot. I wish your muse well.

I don’t actually like a lot of the shirts on threadless anymore. I don’t like most of the art and the messages are to complex now. I ended up writing threadless a nasty letter about that urban camoflauge and mp3 shirts. Both of those shirts are blatant rip offs of some street artists that I like. I’m about done with threadless at this point.

sorry for rant :P
