Here’s a video of OS X 10.5 Leopard Spaces + Expose in action. Pretty sweeeet!
If you can’t wait and want Spaces now, you can download VirtueDesktop. VirtueDesktop allows you to have multiple desktop and switch between them. I have been using it for couple weeks now. It does a pretty good job keeping your desktop organized. I recommend it until Apple releases Leopard.

Anyways… Sweet! I can’t wait to get myself a Mac, but I’d like a recommendation from the expert.
Hawk, which Laptop from Apple should I get… I already did my best to emulate the look and feel, but as always, Windows will be buggy.
check your email.
Wow, I’ll give Virtual Desktop a shot I guess…
You’re running it on your lappy or your desktop?

I’ve been useing windows and for as long as i can remember, people have been giving it a bad name for being so buggy… This is all a pack of lies! I’ll be buying a mac, but only because it is geared better for media purposes. Also, if Windows was so bad, why would mac want to “poison” a perfectly good machine with it?
It’s only better because they are willing to spend so much processing power on the operating system instead of leaving that for the programs, trust me, i multi-task, and from what i’ve seen with virtual desktops, it will come **close** to filling my demands.
*_* I need to get a Mac… I just learned about the history of the computers in BCIS! And Apple was in there, they sold computers out of their garage…
Theres a similar program for windows users, if like me you work across X11/Win32 desktops it makes work flow much smoother to be able to organise in the same way.
i believe Nvidia and ATI have been doing this for years, back in 2001 i got a Geforce 2 GTS, with its drivers came a multiple desktop software that you could switch between with toggle keys, it was kind of cool, but i didnt really use it. as far as moving windows from one desktop to another, i dunno if it did that
I prefer DesktopManager myself. VirtueDesktop was nice, but it had this crashing problem on my machine.
