I have used my GoBook as a handhold while driving, I have set taco bell on it, I have spilled drinks on it... And it still works. Oh, and it works using Gentoo Linux. I love my armored laptops. So far its been kicked by cattle, droppedhad stuff dropped on it and it still works just as good as the day we bought it. Personally I wouldn't be against giving a monitor a slight tap, as waving a few hundred times per day would hurt the wrist. No damage at all, screen doesn't crack nothin! And you don't have to have Microsoft software on them either, can always go for Linux.
