The inking for Issue 298 is finally done. Now all I have to do is scan it and color it. In the mean time, here’s another animation. Keep in mind I don’t have any animation background at all. Just like drawing, I’m teaching myself all this. I wish I went to a school that taught animation, I’m starting to like it.

Hey - the animations look good. That’s the same way I started, doing random little stuff like that. The book you need is called The Animator’s Survival Kit by Richard Williams. It’s marvelous.

Hahaha…very cool! Getting really good Hawk. :) This kind of reminds me of Toy Story, they’re alive and having fun but as soon as someone comes around, they play dead. Hahah…that iPod’s one fuuny mo’fo. :P

You should check out “The Illusion of Life.” Book is all about the history of Disney animation and, more importantly, it has a chapter on every principal of animation.

Fun read, I would recommend just checking it out though. I believe it is $70 so unless you really like it, don’t go for the buy.

Good to see you taking an intrest in animation. Isn’t it just great being able to bring something to life like that. Good luck.

Really good animation. Really smooth, and very good for someone who’s never done it before.

…This coming from an amateur animator whose whole portfolio (all six cartoons, oooo) isn’t as good as this. Still, I’m just practicing… anyway, what’d you use to make it?

I think this picture is incredible, hell this entire comic has inspired me for more than a year now, I love the art work. You made me want a mac, but before I sound any more stalker-ish, lets get to a question: what exactly is happening in this frame? I don’t quite understand what it is even in the full comic.
