Comic is delayed … Hawk’s feeling a bit ill. But I stuck a sneak peek of one of the prints we’ll be selling at conventions this year at the bottom of my rant.

Christian and Madsen are doing their yearly donation drive to finance their trip to Otakon. Give them a hand if you feel inclined to do so! All I can say is that there’s a lot of terrible things going on in the world, and we could all use a little more Hot Swedish Love.

It’s that time again … yup, Threadless is having another sale. They’ve also added some new t-shirt lines that are alternately interesting and puzzling, but on the whole rather fun! Check it out!

Hehe. I feel like an ass for doing this, but Shirt Guy Dom on Issue 284 was a joke. :)

After we posted Issue 283 on Thursday, AG readers and MT readers were discussing who would appear in Monday’s comic. I think most readers were hoping for Largo, but our plan was to have Junpei appear (and yes, we got Fred’s permission to use his character again). For Monday’s comic, we decided that Junpei’s actions should do all the talking, so I told Ananth I didn’t need a script.

While I was reading through MT/AG forums and discussing the crossover with Katy, I came up with a WTF idea. Why not put Shirt Guy Dom in Monday’s comic as a joke. Everyone is thinking Largo, Junpei, Ed and so on – but nobody said anything about SGD.

But now, the actual comic with Junpei is up. I hope you guys don’t hate me for messing with your heads. :)

are good. :)

Someone finally wrote an article paralleling videogame censorship with the comics censorship that occurred a little over 50 years ago. It’s an example I use often when I talk about what the video game industry might be facing in the next few years – or now, given all the noise people have made over the GTA Hot Coffee mod etc. And Jack Thompson is our own Fredric Wertham. The article goes on to talk about censorship back in the heyday of Hollywood as well.

Speaking of Hollywood … you guys saw AG Lite last week, but just to review – we didn’t like X3. I posted this “review” (I use quotes because it’s mostly just pissed off ranting) in the forum, but I’ll post it here too … haha, he’s an angry man, but he raises some great points.
