Alright guys, so Hawk and I have been mentioning this for a while. I figure it’s time to give a better explanation of what exactly City Limits is.
City Limits is a graphic novel anthology. It’s a collection of shorts, essentially. It was conceived of at Otakon 2005.
What’s it about?
The general theme is this: There is a city, Port du Ciel, and it is full of people and stories. The folks running the show over at Blue Day Media gave us a geography, some history, some of the major players in the city, and said to the contributors “bring this city to life”. And that is exactly what the contributors have done. Sci-fi, fantasy, slice-of-life, humor, serious, horror, and more … all these genres come together in City Limits, in interesting and often surprising ways. I’ve seen the editor’s copy, and it looks pretty hot.

Where can I get it?
City Limits is available for preorder now! You can follow the link posted up in our “Featured Site” on the sidebar, or you can follow this link to the City Limits section on the Blue Day Media page. Scroll to the bottom if you want to check it out! Also provided are samples of some of the pages. Samples of our own contibutions can be found on the front page.
We’re all pretty psyched about this book! After Seven, Hawk and I were eager to try our hand at another non-AG story. I’ve also got a 5-page piece in the book as well, written by myself and illustrated by the lovely Shannon Hommerbocker. If you’re curious, please check it out!
Hawk and I are working hard on our submission for the City Limits book, so this is going to be a small update.
I do want to share this link, though: Ultimate Utopia XXIII. It’s a spoof of RPGs, mainly Final Fantasy, but it’s done pretty well. RPG kids should get a kick out of this.
Comic is up. Not happy how the art came out, a lot on my mind right now.
I know 258 is still not colored. I was going to color it this weekend but something came up and I was away from my computer for the last couple days.
To clear up a misunderstanding, I DID NOT get a new iMac. The image I posted in my previous post was an illustration I did in Illustrator.
Comic will likely be late! There’s a lot going on at our end that we’re sorting through at the moment. We’re probably going to have some guest strips up too, so that should be cool! :) More news as it comes!
I got a new Apple computer!
