Next comic will be out this Thursday. Ananth will write up a con report.

By the way, I don’t play WoW. This was just a joke.

I’ll rant later, I’m still tired from Otakon.

Otakon was good. But exhausting. Home now. There will be a con report later this week. I’ll have some interesting things to tell, and I’ll mention some of the cool people we happened to meet – keep an eye out.

Mohammad (BatmanX) was with us at the convention, helping us take care of the table and lugging things around, so that was cool! He’s always helped us behind the scenes, but readers who came by the table were as eager to shake his hand as they were to shake ours, and I think that says a lot about how cool they were.

Came home to find that my PC doesn’t want to start up – it gets to a point, I catch a glimpse of bluescreen, and then the computer restarts. If I don’t turn it off, it continues in a perpetual loop of restarting. I’m currently posting from my (reliable) Powerbook.

Gonna head to bed, as I am very tired, but before that, wanted to make the point of offering a thank you to Katy, who happens to be the most helpful person on the face of planet Earth. Without her, our convention experiences would probably spiral into amazing, tragic-but-inspired disasters. So thanks kid! We really appreciate it.

Zzzz … x_x

BatmanPPC:
Hey all. Just a quick note for those attending Otakon 2005, we are out of bandannas and the limited run prints (we warned you that there were only 50!).

However, we might have a new item for a lucky few! The item will be in very limited stock (probably around 15 only) this time as we just got to see the prototype today. Below is a picture of the great Ananth modeling the new Power Headband! Click the picture to see a larger version.

I have a confession, I bought WoW and made an AG Guild so I can attack PA, CAD, and PVP…..

So it’s upon us … the next few days are busy for me, so this will probably be my last post before the convention.

We will have the following for sale at our table:

Power Symbol shirts
Power Symbol bandanas
Rawr! babydoll tees
Choose Wisely posters
Hawk vs. Eve prints

The prints of the latest issue have an even more amazing color job than what’s up on the site – but they’re limited to 50, so no guarantees that we’ll have some later in the convention. Here’s a look, since I suspect Hawk will be changing his rant before the convention:

People often ask us if they have to pay to have us sign stuff, and the answer is no, absolutely not! So ask away. Can’t make any guarantees on sketches – honestly depends on how busy it is. We’ll be located very close to the entrance of Artist’s Alley, so come say hey. It shouldn’t be hard to find – we’ll have the Hawk standee and several of our comics mounted and stood up in front of our table.

We are doing a panel as well, so feel free to drop in on us there, too. The more the merrier, as the old saying goes.

Lastly, Disposable Parts will be on sale at Otakon 2005. This is the comics anthology that contains the 9-page short that Hawk and I did, titled Seven. It also contains a lot of other work by webcomickers and artists, including but not limited to Josh M. of Punks and Nerds (who also put the book together), Ian J. of RPG World and Meredith G. of Skirting Danger, whose contribution I particularly enjoyed. Seriously, Emobot had me in stitches.

I believe that’s everything of note … so I’m going to check out.

Hawk used a suitcase to transport our merchandise to ConnectiCon. This is a special suitcase … because it says Assoda all along the outside edge. I couldn’t possibly recall the conversation that led to this, but now it’s the ASS suitcase. There, your preface is over.

Ananth: Do you guys need help transporting any of the stuff, or do you have taken care of?
Hawk: yes i’m giving everything to you
Ananth: awesome
Hawk: no we’re all set i think
Ananth: totally awesome
Ananth: okay
Hawk: all the shirts in that ASS suitcase
Hawk: hmmm
Ananth: you have a suitcase you keep in your ASS???
Ananth: that’s awful
Hawk: you might want to come over either tonight or tomorrow
Hawk: and giove me the poster tubes
Hawk: or wait
Hawk: do i have the tubes?
Ananth: you should have them, I think … they ended up in the ASS suitcase at the end of ConnectiCon
Hawk: hehe
Hawk: ok
Ananth: hold on, let me just say it a few times
Ananth: get it out of my system
Ananth: ASS suitcase
Hawk: lol
Ananth: ASS suitcase
Ananth: ASS suitcase
Ananth: ASS suitcase
Ananth: hmm, no, still want to say it
Hawk: lol
Hawk: prick
Ananth: Says the guy with the ASS suitcase!
Hawk: lol
