So I pushed that site called Threadless a little while back … well, they’ve got new designs up. They’ve also put up some reprints, which means some of the retired designs have been restocked! You can check them out here!

Hey! Found a cool link today … it’s about a project that was run at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. A link to the article from which I saw it is here, and a link to a video of the project in action is here. What the guy says at the end is the funniest part, but overall it’s pretty fascinating. The narrator is quick to point out the potential for entertainment, but there’s also avenues of possibility for things like interaction design as well.
Dear Mr Bill Gates. Give up already! Just admit your company sucks.

Nick Wong sent me Eve on his PSP. Thanks dude!

Alex Hengen just sent me a picture of his PSP in action with the KoolAid wallpaper. Thanks dude!

If you own a PSP and upgraded the firmware to 2.0, here are two PSP wallpapers…more to come.
Enjoy.
I’ll put up the color version of the comic by the end of the week.
Kicking the art up a notch in this issue. Fred gave me an “A+” on the backgrounds. I try to avoid backgrounds, I know I shouldn’t. But the way I see it, backgrounds will be very important in the next couple of comics…and actions! There will be a lot of butt kicking! So I need to get as much practice as I can.
Otakon is coming up fast. Which means I need to come up with new prints. So much to do, so little time.
Oh and.. OH MY GOD! DAVE LISTER UPDATED!!! Dave started to do his webcomic full time, so I want to wish him a lot of luck. He was the one that convinced me to go to conventions.
I’ll put up the color version by the end of the week. I have homework I need to finish and I need sleep…. sleep is good!

To everyone who plastered the saveConnectiCon banner across their site, who told their friends, who helped in any way possible … and to everyone who donated, a gigantic thank you. This was such a big deal for so many people, and you guys have proven that we have some of the best fans in the world.
I tip my hat to all of you, gentlemen and ladies both. We’re terribly humbled by your generosity.
As Mookie would say, you guys are fucking metal.
Gonna stop there … I’m so tired I can barely keep my eyes open, and it’s only 9. Guh.
ConnectiCon has reached their goal! Thank you so much for your help and donations.
There’s a nasty storm going through my area, so the power is coming and going. If all fails, I’ll somehow put up the sketch version. I’m still drawing the comic, there’s a preview in the HawkEye Cam.
Comedity did a ConnectiCon con report, check it out. And yes it’s true, I did use Scott’s PC tablet during the “Meet and Greet: Applegeeks” and I did have a little trouble using it but I had fun rotating the monitor! I think that was the best panel we ever did so far. The room was packed and we were relaxed. We answered bunch of questions, and I drew some really weird stuff during the panel.
If you still see the unfinished version of Issue 206, CLEAR YOUR BROWSER CACHE!
As part of our ongoing campaign to saveConnectiCon , I donated the original sketch of the badge art I did for ConnectiCon 2005. The winner of the eBay auction will get the original sketch and a print (8.5in x 11in) of the final computer-rendered image, both signed. All proceeds go to the saveConnecticon donation!
