If you were wondering about the flash game I started to work on a while back, here’s an update. I basically have a simple working version of the game. You can move left and right to catch the acorns, you can get hit in the head with an acorn as well. My next step is to add the experience levels..aka Ninja Squirrel.

Special thanks to my friend Katy for testing this game for me and reporting any bugs.

Oh one more thing, if you ask me why is the squirrel catching acorns during the winter, I’m just going to reply “Why do superheroes wear their underwear over their costume?”

An AG forum member, Preech, created a thread about favorite Applegeeks comics. So if you have a favorite issue, feel free to post it and let us know why.

So there’s a thread going on in our forums about all the old american cartoons people used to watch and the new cartoons they still keep tabs on. All I can say is that it made me super nostalgic … and surprised me a little, too. I had no idea there were actually this many cartoons out. And … how come there’s no cartoons with that old school tone anymore? Like … Ducktales or Tailspin? I don’t know if I’d find them as entertaining now, but they were the sort of things you could get really into when you were a lot younger. The tone of cartoons has changed a lot, I guess!

Anyway, if you have an old or new cartoon that you want to share, come join us. ^_^ Click here for the thread.

I’m done with classes for the rest of the day, but in few hours I need to do work. Right now I’m hanging out with Ananth, he’s writing a paper and whining about how he doesn’t want to write the paper. He keeps on visiting websites and getting distracted… hold on…I need to beat him with a stick so can finish the paper…..

Looks like Hawk was pulling the late shift again… sorry dude. >_
I had some things to say, but then I got an e-mail… and looked at the forums … and damn, Iforgot. So I’ll drop some links instead:

Here’sone from my brother … it covers, among otherthings, some less orthodox methods of voterregistration … like registering Democrats, andthen tearing up the ballots. Moreinside. I warn any Republicans now that thearticle/blog has a very obvious liberal/democraticbias, but for the love of god, there are somethings you don’t do to win an election. I don’tknow if there’s a site of democratic infractions, but if there is I’ll gladly post it in theinterests of showing both sides.

Now! On to the funny stuff.

Kidsflood school to get out of Greek exam.

Okay, I really wanted to avoid anything remotelypolitical, but: GOPChairman Ed Gillespie sent a “cease and desist”letter to MTV’s Rock the Vote campaign, tellingthem to stop talking about the draft. Hahahahaha

Again: A county in Ohio uses theseballots for voting: they must be made by anover-zealous Democrat, or an idiot.

Here’s one for all the single heterosexual guysout there: SpaceStudy attracts French women

Whoa … Brainin dish flies F-22.

More whoa - prominentresearcher states that some people alive todaywill live to be 150.

Everyonewants to be Spiderman … even trucks?

I’ve already listed too many, but here’s one Icouldn’t resist - Bankrobbers forced to retreat when one drops fake gunand it shatters.

And here’s me trying to cut out the middleman - Iget almost all my links from Fark.com. It’s asite that compiles a bunch of links from aroundthe internet and marks them as interesting, asinine, obvious, and so on. It’s really a lot offun, and a great way to kill some time betweenclasses.
