We recently got an e-mail from one of our readers,Danielle. She asked us to mention it on the site,so I’m giving it it’s own post. ^_^ Danielle islooking for pledges, sponsors, and donations forthe San Francisco AIDS walk. She attached thegeneric “I am AIDS walking” message to the bottomof her e-mail, which reads:

I am writing to let you know that I haveregistered for AIDS Walk San Francisco and am veryexcited about the event. This is a very importantissue to me so I have set an ambitious fundraisinggoal. I want to do as much as I can to make adifference in the lives of men, women, andchildren affected by HIV and AIDS. Even thoughthere has been a lot of publicity about drugtreatments which are prolonging some people’slives, they don’t work for everyone and there isstill no cure in sight. Moreover, young people arestill getting infected at alarmingly highrates.
